This is one of my tiger friends. He, and others like him, are raised by the Guzoo operation one hour northeast of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Guzoo is responsible for providing tigers to zoos throughout Canada and the USA. They also rent out their tigers to movie studios in North America. I like to visit this tiger operation whenever I have some free time and "play" with the tigers.

I also enjoy getting out into the foothills of the nearby Rocky Mountains on weekends to do some horse riding and take in the picturesque scenery. The foothills are 20 minutes west of Calgary and the mountains are a further 20 minutes beyond that. I often go hiking through the foothills and mountains and have discovered many small lakes and waterfalls. I see lots of wildlife but have not met any bears yet (thank goodness).

Golfing is another hobby of mine and I manage to get out onto the courses a few times every summer. Calgary is fortunate to have several dozen courses in and around the city at very reasonable rates.
